Indigenous Bachelor of Management

Course Overview & Cultural Component

At Maskwacis Cultural College (MCC) we are committed to contributing to the emerging success of our graduates in the Canadian and First Nations’ economies by providing a Bachelor of Management degree program that prepares our graduates to be highly effective in the workplace or to continue on to graduate business administration/commerce degree programs at Canada’s leading universities. The Bachelor of Management (BMgt) degree program is being designed to produce graduates that will be effective in serving the management needs of the four nations in areas of project management, information systems, managerial accounting, marketing, treaty negotiations/mediation, entrepreneurial business, hospitality/tourism, and economic development to name a few. The BMgt program is also comprised of twenty five percent (25 %) of the courses from the Cree language and Culture department at MCC. Within each of the business and administration courses, MCC’s resident elders are welcome to interact and participate with our students through giving talks and sharing circles.
