MCC Microlearning Series - The Power of 100-Word Stories for Teaching and Learning

The Power of 100-Word Stories for Teaching and Learning

This session will introduce participants to stories that are 100 words long and shorter, with an emphasis on how writing LESS makes it possible for students to get and give more feedback, which leads to more revision, which leads to better writing, more learning, and a real sense of accomplishment. Here is a Padlet I made for a similar presentation for CSU Monterey Bay, which I will adapt and revise for this new audience, based on any specific requests and suggestions from participants who sign up: https://padlet.com/laurakgibbs/csumb ... I will make those materials available in advance for any participants who want to do some prewriting to experiment with these tiny writing forms and get some feedback from me and other participants.
