Padlets: A Fun and Powerful Writing Space for Teachers and Learners

In this session, Laura will demonstrate different ways to use Padlets for connecting and sharing. You can use a Padlet like a blog or portfolio, either with a single author or as a shared group writing space. A Padlet can also be used like a presentation slideshow while faciliating audience discussion using the comments feature. With the free Padlet plan, you can create up to three Padlets of your own, trying out the different features for yourself. Laura has used Padlets for many purposes, and together we can brainstorm ideas for how you might use Padlets in your own context.

Presenter:

Laura Gibbs taught mythology and folklore courses at the University of Oklahoma for 20+ years.
She recently retired, and now she writes full-time. You can find out more about her work at LauraGibbs.net
