Untangling the Web - Understanding the Stages of Grief and Loss
Presented by Jennalee Schafer with McKinney Psychology, this session will discuss the difficult topic of grief and loss. You will come to understand that there is no right or wrong way to grieve. It’s a deeply personal process that can vary in intensity, duration and expression from person to person. Grieving is not linear. Come join us in being authentic and real about the experiences and feelings around grief and loss.
Presenter:
Jennalee is a practicum student at McKinney Psychology and is in the final months of completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Jennalee acquired an undergraduate degree in social work from the University of Calgary. Jennalee’s practicum placement has been focused on providing Trauma Informed Counselling with adult clients. Jennalee has a special interest in treating children and teens. Jennalee hopes to provide care that will make a difference in helping clients through whatever struggles they may be facing.
Jennalee was born and raised in Central Alberta. Jennalee is a wife and mother to three young children. Jennalee enjoys spending time outdoors and photography.
